House-Run Leagues

These leagues are non-sanctioned leagues run by the staff at Playaway Lanes. These leagues are designed for the casual bowler that is more interested in having fun than serious competition. We use a handicap scoring system which allows fair competition amongst all levels of bowlers. You can either join by yourself or bring a group of 4 people and form your own team. Joining is easy, just show-up at registration ready to bowl. By the way, we are always looking to add leagues to our line-up so if you have a group of 24 people of more and would like to have your own league , call us and we will give you your own night and even run it for you!

USBC Sanctioned Leagues

These leagues are for those that would like to be a part of the official organization of the bowling industry, the United States Bowling Congress (USBC). These leagues run for a longer time (typically 36 weeks) and are designed for the competitive side of bowling. USBC bowlers are nationally recognized for their achievements. As a member of the USBC you will also be entitled to participate in USBC tournaments. You can either join by yourself or bring a group of 4 people and form your own team. Joining is easy, just show-up at registration ready to bowl. By the way, we are always looking to add leagues to our line-up so if you have a group of 24 poeple that would like to run a sanctioned league, call us and we will give you your own night.
